Murray Education Foundation (MEF) supporters and sponsors have been teeing off for Murray teachers and kids for 27 years now. This year’s tournament on August 22 raised a record total of funds that will all go toward elevated student classroom experiences, overseen by Murray’s amazing teachers.

This year we welcomed 128 golfers representing 31 teams from businesses and individuals in and around the community – many of whom have children in the district and are they themselves alumni of Murray High School. 

This program allows teachers and others to think outside the box and dive into ideas they are passionate about, but that need additional funding not otherwise available to them.

Through 2025, the Golf Tournament has raised over $600,000, and has funded has funded more than 1600 different grants, Some of these grants are for materials that get used multiple years. It’s safe to say the funding touches nearly every student in Murray at some point.
