Welcome back, Murray City School District families, to what promises to be an inspiring 2025-26 school year! We are thrilled to embark on a new academic journey with our incredible students and dedicated parents, and we’re excited to introduce our theme for the year: Murray Elevated.

“Murray Elevated” isn’t just a catchy phrase; it embodies our collective aspiration to reach new heights in every aspect of our educational experience. This year, we are committed to elevating learning, fostering stronger connections, and ensuring every student thrives. It also perfectly captures the excitement around our district’s right-sizing efforts, with the ongoing construction of the new Riverview Junior High and Murray High School – both set to open in the summer of 2027. These new facilities are truly elevating our capacity to provide an exceptional learning environment for years to come.

As a district, we believe in leading as one team, always prioritizing what’s best for all students across all our schools. You’ll see this commitment reflected in our consistent communication and cohesive approach to education. We also collaborate proactively, actively seeking diverse perspectives to strengthen our programs and support systems. We’re also excited to share more about the Murray Board of Education’s five-year strategic plan in the coming weeks. We believe their thoughtfulness and investment in students underscores our collective ambition to give Murray students a pathway to thrive and the resources for elevated learning opportunities.
